Just over a year ago, I started having my ‘difficult’ hair done by Dominican stylists. After a wash & set, they blow dry my frizzy, afro hair with this hair dryer – making it straighter, smoother and sleeker than anyone ever has. I already had 3 dryers at home, but had to shell out the money for this fantastic product!

I’ve been a hairdresser for about 15 years, and this is by far the best, most powerful hairdryer I’ve owned. My coworker does beautiful blowouts using a large boar bristle brush and the focus attachment included with the dryer. I was sticker shocked at first, but it is well worth the price.

I have this dryer and have had it for a couple of years now. It is amazing. I bought it from my stylist and my stylist is the 2007 Aveda top stylist of the year and this is the dryer he uses.

My hair dresser told me to stop buying cheap drug store hair dryers because they were damaging my hair and making it frizzy. She suggested this brand and model. I found this vendor had the best price around and the item arrived about three days after I ordered it which was great and unexpected too. Anyway, it really dries my hair quickly and leaves it shiny and frizz free. Overall I am very happy with the product and the vendor as well.

Right after assembling this dryer, the small plactic part that holds the dryer head to the base snapped. This plastic post, which is weakened by the holes drilled through it for the three attachment rivets, is poorly designed and too weak to handle the torque created by the weight of the dry head. This attachment point is critical in this type of dryer, and should be strong.

I love this dryer! It has a higher wattage than the other brands of similar dryers, and it looks better too!
It is not only beautiful but works FAST! I got it to dry my hair in the morning before work, while I put on my make up. I hate standing with a blow dryer!!! I just pin my hair up with a few big clips and sit under this dryer and by the time my make up is done, my hair is dry.
I do still blow dry my bangs first to keep them smooth, but the rest dries in a natural wave due to the gentle air flow from the dryer.
It gets really hot, but you can also set it to a lower temp if you want. But I like it hot so my hair dries fast.
I also like the fact it is on wheels and easy to roll around and get out of the way. My old drier was the type that sits on a desk and it was a hassle to get to the correct height, this one is easy to move up and down.

I was really excited about using this dryer, it was comfortable with plenty of room for large rollers and on low speed the heat was perfect. After 10 minutes it started making a rattle noise and I could smell burning wires and 20 minutes into my drying it went to high and would not go back to low. If I had it to do over I would choose a different dryer, this one does not seem to be reliable. I was instructed to return it to the manufacturer at my expense. I am still working on getting the shipping cost returned from the company I purchased it from, but it doesn’t look promising.

I was very disappointed with this dryer. First of all, the high heat setting feels like the depths of Hades and the low heat setting blows cold air on you. I was willing to overlook that, but then my low heat setting blew a fuse or something, so now it doesn’t work at all. I ended up giving it away.
