I bought this item in an effort to declutter my bathroom vanity top. My daughter is pre teen and her collection of beauty items is growing everyday. The style station holds my blow dryer, flat iron and one curling iron just as it shows in the picture. However, the cord storage in the back requires that you take time to carefully fold each cord before you can properly store them in the back. If you're impatient or short on time and leave the cords dangling, it will look a mess. It still looks bulky hanging on a towel rack and will probably take up too much space underneath the sink with it's odd shape. It's too big to fit on my storage unit shelf in the bathroom. We haven't used it yet, but I look forward to being able to store hot irons inside when we're done styling hair. Overall, it's OK, I guess it does what it's supposed to do but my expectations were greater.

I had looked at wooden ones, but the reviews weren't great and I didn't want to pay for something that would fall apart. I tried this one on a whim, and at the time it didn't have any reviews, and I rarely buy things without reviews, but I took a chance. I was pleasantly surprised!! It hangs on a towel holder on the inside door of my cabinet. It's VERY sturdy and well made. My straightener, dryer and curling iron fit perfectly! I love this item and couldn't be more happy!

My teen daughter was thrilled when this Remington Curling Wand came in and used it almost right away. She has very straight, medium thickness hair that takes curls fairly easily using regular curlers and this curling wand worked very well for her. Here are our observations:

Pros -
+ Gets Hot Quickly; it comes up to temperature fast and is indicated on the digital display
+ Smooth Wand; the coating on the wand is VERY slick, making the curling process very easy
+ Tapered Wand; allows more natural looking curls

Cons -
- Tricky to Use; there was a bit of a learning curve since this is fairly different than her old clamp type iron and rollers
- Easy to Get Burnt; this gets very hot and the body of the wand is completely exposed, so I highly recommended using the included protective glove

Misc -
* We found that using this on someone else's hair is easier (and safer) than doing your own

This wand does produce good results very quickly, but it might not be for everyone (especially younger kids) due to the risk of burns.

Recommended, with the caveats above.

It comes with a heat protectant glove (which if you're wary about using this kind of curling iron, it's a big plus over the gloveless, equally priced Conair version) but I've used many an iron and didn't feel the need to use it. The first time I used this, I did accidently burn my finger and the ends weren't curled perfectly, but after that first session I've been a pro. I love the variety of waves you can get with the barrel size, as well as how quickly I can do my hair! I've never been able to style it in 10 minutes before (the exact amount of time before I had to dash out the door or face being late to class, a gamble that paid off), and since you don't waste time carefully arranging it in the clamp, it's easy to grab a random section of hair and wind it around. My hair keeps its shine and has great springy curls that relax into natural looking waves as the day goes on.

I've used this iron on my friends, and one of them has very fine hair that hasn't ever held a curl well but with this iron, hers lasted through the next day even after she slept on it. I also loaned it out before a party and both girls came up to me with rave reviews. Two of them are considering purchasing this.

I would definitely recommend this wand to any of my friends.

This is a great caddy that holds up to 5 hair styling items. It was very easy to install and already came with screws. Not sure about pain quality because the corner was already semi-chipped/scratched off when it arrived. It's basically a very simple caddy that's very sturdy and will hold your styling tools.

This device is built like a tank and if it stays on the wall will be sturdy and useful. Unfortunately my daughter thought it was chrome, because of the picture being chrome, and was horrified by the large, heavy black object which arrived. She didn't want it on her wall. Thinking I had 30 days from receipt to return it, I went to Amazon's website to return it and was directed instead to the seller, since it had been more than 30 days since I ordered it. Not fair! The seller didn't want it back either since it had been more than 30 days by that point. Disgusted by the whole process, I decided to just keep it and try to spray paint it white. Maybe she'll accept it if it's white!

Other than that the thing's wonderful.

Even though this model only has 3 slots, I have attached mine to the wall in my bathroom, near the outlet, not far from where the hot hair tools used to sit on the sink counter top; I am often able to store 4 or more items in it: my hair dryer, curling iron, flat iron, and a mini flat iron. It keeps the cords out of the way, and the tools don't keep getting knocked to the floor, or even worse, the sink. I feel better about the tools being in this holder when they are still hot because it is metal also, and I don't have to worry that the hot tools are touching and burning something nearby. These holders are very useful, and worth every penny.I am so pleased with this purchase.

I had been looking for something to hang my hairdryer and my wife's flat iron on the wall to get them off of the counter. I had been looking at individual holders but wanted to try this to save on space. It has a single mounting point to the base that moves every time I put the hair dryer back in it. The screws that come with it I don't think are long enough to go through dry wall and mount it securely to a stud. As long as I am gentle when putting the hair dryer in it and don't slam it I am hopeful it will last a little while. If and when I need a new one I will more than likely go back to plan A and purchase 2 separate holders.

I swear on everything holy, this purchase has single-handedly turned my marriage around. No longer do I return home from a long day at work only to go to the bathroom having a deep rooted desire to punch all hair-related electronics in the face. This thing is awesome for keeping that stuff out of the way. Looks a little cheesy, but really, who cares, what it does is far better than the way it looks.
